I really like the mer-pooch but he doesnt look too amused, I dont think he likes having a fish tail.. the cat prolly makes fun of him.. great picture!

The dog is based on pictures i drew of my friend's puppy at rest. The dog died recently of parvo & I injected it into the painting.

The girl is supposed to represent the 30-something daughter of a 70-something co-worker. I'd only seen the daughter twice!

The old lady is satisfied with the outcome, now I have to try to get some money out of her And I'll have to draft a contract, selling her the original but keeping the reproduction rights in my own pocket

Water is always tricky for me. I havent seen an ocean in years. The best I have here is small fast moving rivers...
