Hopefully, if everything goes as planned, this is the nextnext cover for the Finnish anime/manga/japan –magazine Otaku . Yaa~aaay! Number 3/2007 to be exact.

The chief editor suggested me to draw picture of girls and boys walking home from school, in violet uniforms. Sooo I drew the exact opposite, haha~ Well, the important part was that there is at least one girl and boy in the picture with school uniforms. Sooo...mission accomplished?

It was kinda...frustrating to draw this. I had a very hard time with the colours. >_>;;; I usually have this kind of rainbow colour scale when I draw, in other word, I put every colour I have in the picture. This time it was limited. I had to stick to orange, yellow plus a little brown. Orange and yellow where the colours I suggested to the chief editor. You see, violet is not my cup of tea. In the end, I’m very happy with the result. These characters don’t have a comic (usually I draw my old characters), so maybe I'll some day make a comic of these two? I like them both!

By the way, the guitar is actually from an anime. The chief editor is a fan of the series, wonder if he noticed... o_o
