I figured it was about time for a new one of these

Now, for those of you who are new to Lint and Dirt:

I'm not diagnosed with multiple personalities, but I do have two distinct sides. Two completely different mood sets that determine how I'll respond to something.
I used to think it was hormonal mood swings, but I've come to learn they're really consistently distinct states of being. Most of the time I'm a blend of the two, but you've likely encountered Lint on here. Dirt is usually the one who formats all the sketchdiaries lol

Dirt tends to be the scientist and Lint is usually the artist
we make a pretty functional team, I think.
Except when I'm wearing a dress and then suddenly shift to Dirt and then I want to vomit
I could go without that, please

Also, they named themselves in 2012, and I'm not sure why they chose the names they did
does anyone else have this left brain/right brain thing going on?

Since Lint and Dirt both share my face, instead of drawing them I decided to try to depict my synesthete understanding of the states (the color pallets by their names)
I'm actually kind of overwhelmed with... some kind of emotion? Looking at the physical colors instead of having them bounce around in my head- it's always hard to effectively communicate when so much of my thoughts are built in shapes and colors, I have to actively translate everything into coherent words

Upon reflecting, I think the overwhelming emotions are:
1. relief and joy that I was able to actually transmit the colors of their personalities accurately
2. a twinge of sadness that nobody will understand what the hell I'm actually talking about, because I have met very few who think this way (cheers to my sister and fellow shape-thinker, SOMETHING is up with this blood)
