Naples in Long Beach, CaliforniaThis is like one of the richest, if not the richest area of Long Beach.
There are little Canals, like as if you were in Italy, for the boats.
My cousin and I went down there one night to take some photos of the reflections of the boats and this is what I captured

i kayak through Naples in long beach, and spend much of my time in Naples and belmont shore! great composition and choice of color! i think the color scheme brings in a reflection of the past, like a photographic allusion to the naples in Italy.

I cross this bridge all the time (for 20+ years now)! This place is like home to me!! My wife's sister lives in a house if you follow the channel to the left. Her house overlooks the bay. My wife & I got married in a little park right there on the right. She & her bridesmaids arrived via a gondola & docked at that dock there with the stairs.
How funny to see this on DA!!

digital night photos creat noise usually. And not easy to udjust without losing some details.
If you have photoshop, use sharpen edges filter, decrease the brightness, and increase the contrast.
it helps when i have a problem like that, especially with night photos.

Hehe, you can tell these people have money. How did you get the light refecting so neatly? Did you leave the shutter open for a long time?

thanks, yeah they do have lots of $$$. It was late at night (just after midnight) and I had it on a 10 second long exposure shutter speed.
