These are some cookies I modelled after the tradional hot cross bun. It's a regular cookie dough I spiced up and added caramel chips to. The chips are there to represent the sultanas because ew sultanas. And I didn't have choc chips so caramel it was. Mini choc chips would have been even better here. I brushed them with apricot jam to represent the glaze on hot cross buns, then piped white chocolate crosses on top.We're having to force ourselves to not eat them because we could easily down the whole batch. They're bite sized cookies, so it's even easier than usual to nom them all.

Whenever I see stuff decorated with white chocolate I wish I wasn't allergic to it... But these are so cute!

Oh that must be such an annoying allergy. Easy to replace the chocolate in these with another icing, though!

It is pretty annoying! Not too annoying, although it would probably be less annoying if it weren't for the fact that I actually like white chocolate... But you're right, it's pretty easy to substitute in recipes!
