Personality :
Scott is not very open towards strangers; he would rather just keep to himself. However if you can somehow gain his trust and friendship, he will be very protective over you (and insist you call him Onii-chi //slapped).
He takes his time making decisions, sometimes way too much time. Even though he can be cold towards people, he loves helping out and being needed. He is also a fast learner, picking up skills through experience.

Background :
Scott has cared for his younger sister, Karen, from a young age, due to his parents being too busy to come home most nights.
Karen has a severe case of arrhythmia, meaning she became dependent on Scott to help keep her heartbeat steady. This also meant she could not play sports with the other kids, and so Scott took it upon himself to play with her. Karen's favorite was arts and crafts, but was always clumsy and ended up cutting herself several times with the craft scissors. Scott would neatly bandage up her cuts. He and his sister became closer than ever, she would call him Onii-chi, and he was now dependent on making her happy.
Shortly after his 18th birthday, Karen's heart problem took a turn for the worst and she had a fatal heart attack, leaving Scott holding her body, sobbing uncontrollably, until a ghostly figure appeared in front of him asking him to play with her. Seeing the similarity of loneliness between Karen and this girl, he gripped his sister's craft scissors, wiped his tears away and accepted to play Hide and Seek.
