Either way, no, it wouldn't change my opinion. Whether it was real or manipulated, the soft and old feeling IS there.

Okay, I wasn't completely sure what you meant by plastic sheet. The picture itself is genuine. The yellow glowing background is just a thin yellow semi-transparent curtain in front of an open window in Italy.

By golly, I'm so sorry. I'm on a different computer now (with a better screen) and yeah, obviously those are textile see-through curtains and NOT plastic curtains (to protect the walls when you're renovating something - that's the impression I got on my other computer because the colours and transparency looked way different; which is why I was thinking of an 'unfinished' background
