I m realivetively new to drawing, but I love the statement this dawing makes! In this world we supposedly have freedom of speech but do we really? We constantly have to watch what we say cuase people get offended over things said. It is not neccessarily because the things we say are inappropriate, but because people twist things around to make the statements made seem bad in one shape or form. People in today's society unfortunately like to bring others down to make themselves look good. I think this makes them mean sprited people who enjoy others being hurt, saddened, and love seeing others in an up roar rather than lifting each other up and helping one another. I am not saying all people are like this, but there are more on this end of the spectrum and this is very sad. As for myself, I have had this happen to me on many ocaasions. But, I always move forward and seek positive people to surround my life and help others in need. It is a great piece! The techniques are well done! This is a very original idea for an art piece.! Keep up this creative work! I look forward to seeing more of you artwork!

Very true, hence why I say "love all more than yourself, and trust none more than yourself." I believe these mean spirited people are acting as such due to weakness and the unwillingness to face their own insecurities and would rather distract others by making fun of someone else instead. I believe that if I am giving critique I need to be totally honest. I hope that in turn others would do the same for me. I would love if you could critique some of my work as well. Yesterday, I added a bunch of photos of nature that I hve taken over the years. Wishing you a very Happy New Year!

This is all around perfect. The shading itself really impacts the drawing, and it really represents the concept you're trying to portray. Freedom of speech is the right to communicate one's opinions and ideas using one's body and property to anyone who is willing to receive them. Freedom of expression is sometimes used synonymously, but includes any act of seeking, receiving and imparting information or ideas, regardless of the medium used. With what you've done here, I feel as though you're showing the limitations of freedom of speech, which is really great, its nice to see something like this. It's really, truly a nice piece, and I hope to see more of your lovely work. Keep up the good job.

you're pretty good. I like your shading technique it looks smooth and the eyes are drawn very expressively. Overall this is really good and alot of people can learn from this.

the bold lines high light the fear in free speech, i say this cos i can see the fear in the person's eyes. the hand seem to be some1 else not the person and does this mean the some1 else is trying to silent this person.
the colour is mostly different shades of gray and make me think of the saying "life is black and white" but it is seem mostly grey.
