Pheww, I think it's done, finally...My submission to 's "Your vision after the end" contest.
Here, Hurley and Ben enjoying a beautiful sunset on the Island, now a peaceful Island, thanks to Jack's sacrifice.
I know that if Ben wants to read a book he should sit with the sun behind him, but I don't care
I wanted him and Hurley sitting towards the sun. And I wanted Ben to hold a book, because he reads a lot 
Maybe that's why he's looking to the left... he's looking for a better sitting spot Aaaah I need to draw some cartoons! Rendering is exhausting!!

i love it i like the detail and the shading, especially the shading and i love how you added the facial details. i for one am a relitivly new artist and i'm new to this site this is the 3rd piece of art i have seen on this side and i absolutely love it. But next time i think you should make Ben's face rounder and make Hugo's hair darker but other than that i think its great!

No! I mean, sure, everyone dies at some point in their lives but... only Jack dies in the final episode. The rest die many years later (Kate, Sawyer, Ben, Hurley, etc)

Maybe you need to watch the final season again? It's amazing how so many people missed the point and thought they were dead all along. That is utterly wrong. The flashsideways, the parallel universe storylines that we get to see during the final season, is revealed in the finale to be Purgatory, the Afterlife, whatever. But that doesnt mean they were dead during the entire series! It means they all reunite there after living their own lives. Some die during the show (Boone, Juliet, Locke,etc), others die many years later (Kate mentions to Jack in afterlife that she has missed him for a very long time).
So what you see in this picture is real. Ben and Hurley became guardians of the Island, without Man in Black's reign of terror or Jacob's shitty administration. They lived there peacefully and arranged things differently, dissolving the Dharma remnants and the sinister cult known as the Others. The also probably brought Walt here at some point to become their own successor, according to the series epilogue.

A beautiful scene, reminding me of just how perfect the series ending was. Thanks for illustrating it! (This could be the first scene in the storyboard for the spin-off series of my dreams. Who'd ever have thought these two opposites would end up together, but Ben really needs Hurley to bring back his lost youthful innocence and goodness.)

I love them ^_^ They're pretty much my two favorite characters, although it's so hard to choose - most of the charries are just great.
