As the sun begins to crest the far horizon, Kodiak rises from the makeshift bed of warm grasses he'd settled in the night before.

In the far distance, he can still smell them, that cloying scent that he'd been catching in hints on the wind for days now.

It's stronger than ever, and it draws him forward into the slowly brightening, dewy fields.

'I hope you found some solace, Bellflower... I'm sorry.' He thinks, leaving the remnants of his personal mission behind in the flattened grasses he'd slept amongst.

Perhaps they'll meet again in another life, perhaps he'll be given a second chance then.

As the sun rises, Kodiak admits his failure, and lets himself fall into his selfish nature that draws him towards his goal.

WHEW, I am, actually really happy with this piece. I DID want to do more with the lighting but I was getting a little frustrated and decided to quit before I trashed said piece in frustration akjsnankjf.

Kodi's officially here though and I am hella excited!

As for Kodi JOINING Mhor, I plan for him to hang out (with permission ofc) in Aewen's court for a month or two, getting to know any Mhorian's willing to come chat with him (classified coming soon) and simply him deciding if Mhor is a place he might like to stay. Ultimately, he'll chose to stay and speak with Rowena about it at some point, and make the move to Respites Hollow afterwards. If you want to meet Kodi while he's hanging out in the Court, keep an eye for the classified I'll pop out soon about it!
