It's really not much to tell, you just pick a slide film, any slide film (Kodak Elite Chrome Extra Colour is a decently cheap one I've used quite a lot), and then you photograph as usual, and then you develop the film in colour negative film chemistry (C-41), or tell the guys at the lab to do it for you. So basically, if you don't have your own lab, all you need is to find a lab that will do crossprocessing for you (not all do), and be willing to pay extra for it. Then you just hope for the best, the result can be quite unpredictable.

I am always very impressed when I see a theme eight million times and then someone finally makes it something I care about. This is brilliant. One of the things I am most pleased with is that the model does not have the typical vacant look on her face while she stares off--she has a hint of a smile. I am also in love with the colors.

Yeah I had no intention to redo an old theme really, this is not symbolic or anything, I just happened to use a fence in this photoshoot and then I saw the shadows on her face and took some photos of it and liked the way it came out.

i love the shadows. sometimes it is easy to go through rolls of film just capturing the way shadows are. in fact i just submitted a few images where i focused on the shadows.
