The bright yellow boots are kind of annoying me. =_= I should've chose another colour 8| Anyway, this is somewhat a "remake" of a really old peice ( ). Hopefully this peice has more of a story to it.
There's something seriously wrong about the colours in this picture. I keep thinking its the random yellow boots but maybe its something more than that. I lowered the contrast, but then it ended up looking dull. I raised it back to its original values, and then it became an eyesore. I tried to find something in between but there's still something really bothersome =_=

I like this version of the picture better because you can really see the details in the faces.
Plus, your eyes immediately go towards them, instead of lingering on the background first.
I might be the only one who thinks so, but I like the yellow boots :> It feels like just a touch of childhood in a (somewhat?) dark picture. This comment did not make sense. OTL

You think so? I feel like the boots are such an eyesore but you got it, the reason why I made them yellow, was because I feel like yellow boots are very child-like :> So I'm glad you like it though I'm stilla bit iffy about how they look the uncropped picture

I do! I mean, if they were bright bright yellow, then they would stick out in a bad way, but it's a subtle color.
And really, when I think of yellow rain boots I think of children! So that's where I got the feeling~ cx

I agree with you, the boot color draws attention to them and away from your characters. (But it would be great if those were magical or cursed boots, just an idea)
