You know, rather than calling these mixed media, there's a dA category specifically for the marriage of text and pictures: Visual Poetry. (You can use "Edit Deviation" to move them over, if you so choose.)

my fish dont even look like them really

i mean the original original one did
but that one is long gone, and i didnt write the poem while i was drawing it
i wrote it while i was on the phone with a body
and then wrote the poem about it
