I love the combination of foliage from foreground to background. It is almost as if nature comforts him.

Now that's an excellent picture dude. The way the leaves interact with the kid is just awesome. The boy's expression gives a feeling of loneliness and maybe even some sadness. And well, with your comment you gave the piuece some of the nostalgia for the inevitable loss of childhood.

Aw, I know what you mean. You have great series of photographs of them - and I just find it interesting how simple your photographs can be yet embody so much at the same time. I've always wanted to photograph children because they're so interesting and you do it so well. Continue to do what you do! And of course, who wouldn't support such wonderful work?!

This feels familiar in a way. My mom used to walk us to school in the mornings when we were little. We'd pass under the weeping willow and feel the sprinkles falling on us.
And there's a boy that I've known for a very long time (he's my younger brother's friend) and he just keeps getting older and older.
All the green looks so pretty and the branches fall so nicely throughout the photo. He's a cutie patootie too.
