Hi there! Thanks for submitting your deviation into our group,
as you asked for a feedback, I have some suggestions for you

First, I'd like to say that your portrait is very well exposed, we have a good light right here. In addition, the background is darker so the model is detached from it and we clearly see that she's in front the background, not into it, that's a good point. Perhaps, if I were in your shoes, I would use a lighter background, something like a pale tone so as to match it with the beautiful dress and the fan. By the way, there's a small detail quite disturbing: the cut elbow. Maybe you can pay more attention to that kind of things to have a good composition
By the way, I would like to add that I LOVE her dress, and I think it could be more enhanced but this dress shows that you paid attention to the wardrobe, very good
Keep going on!

If you have any questions, feel free to ask

Have a nice day!

Sarah

Here from ProjectComment .

  The good:
I like how all the small things are working together, like the lace, and her nail. There was obvious attention paid to detailing and that shows well in the image. The model is quite pretty, and her gaze is quite pointed to the camera. The lighting compliments her skin tone and is even, so it doesn't cast any unwanted shadows.  The focus is very general, so no one thing stands out more than the other.

  The bad:
The fan needs to be a darker shade. Because of the lighting it has caused the fan the lack texture and depth. I would have seen about using a grey, or maybe even a red one to match her nails and add contrast with the dress.
I advise cropping a little of the top because there is just an empty space that doesn't add anything to the photo. It doesn't have to be very much but just enough to get rid of the useless space.

  Other:

What is the sparkly stuff beneath her right eye? Is it a historic thing? If it has historic relevance than it isn't a bad thing but if it doesn't then it's just kind weird. Also she looks slightly posed which, is historically accurate but it makes the photo looks slightly unnatural. It isn't extreme but it's still there.
Overall, good work and keep improving!
Lucky shooting XOXO,
 Juanita

hello there and thank you so much lovely for taking the time out to give me some feedback!

i have cropped the image now so it does improve the photograph, the stuff under her eye is glitter she putted it on herself she said its different  XD and for the fan the studio sadly didn't have any available, as thought that the white be to bright,it was the other photographers fan she brought back from her trip and the model in this photo is her daughter

again  thank you so much lovely
xx

Dear god, she is so beautiful! I almost thought this was a painting at first, it seems even more impressive as a photo. Her pose and outfit are simply stunning.

At first look I promise I thought I saw a painting, looking closer I realized it is a photo and a good one. I like the gems she have under the eye it gets the attention of my look in a second its a good way to break a classic portrait and making it flesh. The flowers in the hair are dificult to see and it's sad because is are beautiful and it get lost with the hair, may if their were a darker black or a soft brown you will saw it easier. The background is nice (I think it is what make me counfound it with a painting) but its just a neutral background and you don't get any tipe of information from it, so I think the superior part of the photo, where there is only background you should cut it off. Talking about she, she is really pretty, there's a great idea to mix the lace dress and fan, that are so delicate, with a fur coat that give a strong image.
This is a pretty photo, keep doing this things.

hehe thank you so much for the feedback lovely i must say i thought the same with the flowers but sadly i had no control or say about it neither did the model for that matter the gems under the eye was the models doing she did it her self,i too was trying to do like one of them old glam painting portrait idea so am rather chuffed it came across that way to someone! and i had a new camera that day and i was a nervous reck i had a break down as i was that shy and nervous plus doing portraits is out of my comfort zone as i will have to tell the model what to do and stuff which i sorta struggle with XD but think i did ok though i mean i had a few i liked, and thank you again for the confident boost!!
