Description
Inspired by 's journal suggesting the skin of tyrannosauridaes were wrinkled ( 105697.deviantart.com/journal/… ), I decided to reconstruct tyrannosaurus with sparse feathers everywhere like large-bodied animals today to regulate heat a bit more efficiently. As far as how this animal would adapt to cold weather during some times of the season, It would most likely have tons of blood vessels where the body can adjust it's blood flow in response to it's temperture, basically feeding enough blood to keep it's body a few degrees above freezing as seen with penguin feet. Also, I included battle scars due to the animal's highly territorial and cannibalistic nature.Related content

I'm definitely a walkover for an imposing Tyrant and this seems a very splendid specimen; I must say that one likes the contrast of the very dark muzzle with the rest of the body and also that "wrinkly" is an intriguing change of pace from the usual Tyrannosaur looks!

Thank you very much!! I wanted the tyrannosaurus's snout look more than a primitive beak rather than a reptilian like nose and the appearance of it turned out very well

While exposing teeth would look more appealing and awesome, I draw the appearances of dinosaurs that are as close to the actual animal as current science allows and we see the only times an animal in the animal kingdom wouldn't have lips is ether they are exposed to water like crocodiles or only in the mammal family where the enamel emerges from the root area as it grows and races outward in all directions causing a 3D shape for keeping water inside of it as seen with elephants, smilidons, etc. As a terrestrial non-avian dinosaur, tyrannosaurus would had lips to protect it's teeth from drying out from the elements
