Cathy couldn't have been more suitable in the house that she's been sorted to. She's brimming with positive energy that usually lifts the spirits of those around her. Cheering everyone up to the best of her abilities, by pulling off lame jokes or just listening to someone else's problems, she's always eager to help everyone out. She's the type of person who just wants the people around her to be happy. Being selfless and optimistic, she's usually friendly to those around her. Although she's considered to be a bit naive and a push over, and an airhead at times, she's been the usual target of bullies from other houses, since she also rarely gets mad and never gets annoyed. She'll only be pushed to the limit once you've hurt the people who're close to her, especially her fellow hufflepuffs. She's loud and jolly and is mostly seen skipping around the hallways greeting everyone who passes her way. She's also really clingy, and to all the people who has a really short temper, better step back. since she's super annoying due to her clingyness. She'll hover onto you if you become friends with her, asking you from your hobbies to what you usually eat. She doesn't know about personal space. She'll stick to you like glue if she has took a liking on you. Other than being annoying, she's also curious, her curiosity can lead her to a lot of trouble and into mischief. Once on her first year she had set free a jar of redback spiders during her potion class, thinking they were Spindle's Lick'O'Rish Spiders, sending some of the girls in her table screaming in panic. Also receiving another howler from her father. She had received a total of 23 howlers ever since she has gotten to hogwarts from every little tidbit of mischief or misconduct she did in class or in the campus grounds.

›HISTORY:
Catherine grew up in the small countryside of Wales, living with both of her parents, older brother and grandmum. Her father, Herbert Mason, works in The Ministry of Magic in London, working as an Obliviator, a member of the Accidental Magic Reversal Squad located in Level 3. Due to her father's work he's mostly out and about doing his obligations, so he tends to be at home only once or twice a week, mostly on weekends. While her mother, Janice Poppy Mason works in a nearby local rundown muggle clinic as a nurse. Further improving her studies in treating muggles and expanding her knowledge about them. Her brother John Rupert Mason is a journalist in the daily prophet writing articles about sports in the wizarding community. A former student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He himself was a Hufflepuff alumni, and has also been a part of the quidditch team positioned as a beater. Due to his love for quidditch he decided to continue this, thus by landing on his current job today. He is currently engaged to his former sweetheart Lucy Penhallow from Ravenclaw, and is about to wed not later on this year. He is rarely seen at home and can be seen most likely during the holidays or special occassions. When Rupert has finally graduated hogwarts he gave his old quidditch broomstick to Catherine during christmas day, urging her to get into the team herself. Although Catherine was not allowed to use it without proper lessons back then, since she was only 9. Thus she was extatic when she attended her first flying lessons during her first year. Her grandmum Cornelia Mason was a former Obliviator back in the days, but has now retired and is mostly the one who takes care of Catherine when both of her parents are away.

She received her invitation letter to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry on September 2010 on the day when she finally turned 11, by means of owl post. While they were currently singing her the happy birthday theme song in the dining room. An idea of her mum who thought it was a usual tradition for the muggles to sing something like that. It was the best gift she had ever received on that day, next to receiving Dandy her pet owl of course. She was so overjoyed that she jumped up and down for a couple of minutes clutching the invitation in her hands, after that she was seen running around the house like she's been injected by a shot of espresso, holding up the envelope for everyone to see, She tripped exactly 5 times by doing so. She almost tore the whole thing in half while opening it due to her excitement. The day after that her mother accompanied her in buying her school supplies in diagon alley, much to her excitement she almost got lost. But was soon found in front of the broom shop staring in amazement at the array collections of brooms and high quality quidditch supplies.
Finally arriving at the infamous school and after being herded to the great hall, It was time for the sorting ceremony. She was so overjoyed hearing her name being called out from the sea of first years to be sorted out that she squeeled in delight and raised her hand waving it delightedly in the air, when she was finally sorted in hufflepuff she was so happy that she whooped so loud and had randomly glomped a fellow hufflepuff student the moment she arrived at their table. During her first years at hogwarts she had some difficulty in most of her subjects, particularly potions. Although much to her delight she exceeds in her flying lessons. Right off the bat she wanted to try out for the hufflepuff quidditch team. Much to her dismay though her father didn't allowed her, not until she fixes her grades first, and most especially get out of mischief. Proving herself that she's responsible enough to be allowed to take extra curricular activities like Quidditch. Eager to join the team she studied quite hard, trying to make up for the hanging grades from her almost failing subjects. Taking extra credit in her potions, her most hated subject and the subject she had almost failed. Mostly because she's been screwing up on mixing the concoctions or was just too curious into the specimens that are moving in the jars on the shelves.
Her hardwork had paid off,receiving passing grades to all of her subjects. She was even surprised that she passed her potions class. and no sooner than that she was finally in her second year. Her Father still didn't think she should join the Hufflepuff Quidditch team, not unless her grades are above normal. Which for her is too much to bear. Since she herself is not very studious, unlike her father during his days as a student. But then again she wouldn't give up. Breaking her old bad habits on being lazy and negligent. Quidditch was the sole motivation on her studies, the main reason why her grades had dramstically improved over the span of year being in hogwarts, not unlike when she was in her first years. from then on she was focus on her grades scared that her father would not still allow her to join the team. During her second year her whole family decided to move in the outskirts of london, england, since her mother was accepted to St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries as a Mediwizard for her founded research on the ways of muggle treatment. She was sent into one of the wards who specializes in muggles that are admitted when they fall prey to magical attacks, and had to remain in the hospital to recuperate as well as to prevent him from posing a danger to anyone.
And now finally in her third year she's got her own groove in studying feeling less pressured from her father about her grades, Since she herself is quite content about them. She had even started getting interested in the subject Herbology, since she'd learn to care for and utilize plants, and learn about their magical properties, and what they are used for. She had learned that many plants provide ingredients for potions and medicine, while others have magical effects of their own right. Since she's been doing so well for the time being. That her father thought that she can now finally juggle her studies and her quidditch practice together, Sending her a letter and a brand new broom. But her father remains on reminding her about her studies, especially for her preparations in the ever so popular incoming year of O.W.Ls. Which is still on her fifth year. Reprimanding her that Quidditch will not do her any good forever, pointing at her brother as an example. Since this will most likely will affect her N.E.W.Ts in choosing her career path, which is still on her seventh year. Telling her over and over again it's much more successful in being an Obliviator. For the time being she's not quite serious about her decisions on her future just yet, but she did consider thinking of her career options in between entering the big league in Quidditch or thinking of something around the corner of that includes herbology. She has yet to be serious about aiming for what's ahead of her. Right now her only goal is to try out for the Hufflepuff Quidditch team, enjoy her life as being a student in Hogwarts, and hope for the best on what future lays ahead for her.

❤ Honeydukes in Hogesmeade - She loves sweets, particularly chocolate!(like chocolate cauldrons,chocolate wands, chocolate skeletons, Charm choc, Wizochoc, Choco-loco and her most favorite of them all are chocolate frogs. )
