Entering fanboy mode...Normally, I wouldn't care at all about what Nintendo has to offer on the E3, just another Mario here and Zelda there; but after Smash Bros. Trailer including Megaman, I had a thought: Capcom should do with Megaman franchise what they did with Devil May Cry, GIVE IT TO SOMEONE WHO CARES ABOUT IT! WHO USE IT! And I think Nintendo could be that one, even when I wouldn't buy a Wii U only to get Megaman games, I would support it.
Having him as guest character in an other game is not like having a game of the character itself, but I guess that when you are so thirsty even half glass of water is good enough...

Good news for Mega Man. Seeing the positive response he got from being in Smash, they are making Mega Man 11. Not only that, the blue bomber got another invite to Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Capcom lost their rights (spiritually) to utilize the Blue Bomber successfully with their cancelling and inclusion of BBA rather than Classic or X (BTW I'm okay with BBA but I know it's still wrong for many people even if Inafune felt like Mega Man in a Street Fighter-esque game wasn't special. SSB is a different story). Nintendo would handle the series better in my book and have someone who worked in many Mega Man games to direct the games.

It was a game called "Maverick Hunter", in development by the guys behind Metroid Prime. It was supposed to present the Megaman X universe in a more brutal fashion..... i.e., tearings the limbs off of enemies and using them as weapons.
