There never was a "Babylon 1" because when it was being constructed they just thought it would be Babylon Station. After its destruction, thats when they started adding numbers. Babylon 2 and then 3... and so on and so forth.

Well Why Not Renamed Babylon Station As Babylon 1 Sort Of Like A Prequel To Babylons 2, 3, 4, 5, & 6?

Because I didnt create the patch for Babylon Station... thats officially canon in universe... I just found it and put it on the pic cause it completes the image.
