Description
This is a drawing of Fungus Town, a place in my upcoming game. It is also my second attempt at drawing Environments. It's still quite hard, but I think I have a little better understanding of how it works now...and that is all thanks to CreativeCommunity and Enclave-of-the-Night ! Cute!Ā Those houses remind me of straw mushrooms. Yum!

This looks absolutely awesome! Values are nicely separated and I love the color harmony you have used. My only suggestion is, take environment into account when lighting. Bounced blue light from sky can be painted in for added realism. Also, those orange mushrooms near the house may reflect bit of orange hue to the wall (in this case i'm not sure because its in the shadows). Also, when the highlights are warm, try to make the shadows cool and vise versa. This provides a better color contrast and depth to the scene. Try it out sometime
Overall. Great work! I'm already seeing much improvement! Keep pushing forward friend!

Yeah, It's for an indie/rpg game that I have been working on for some time now. It's still in its early stages though. Heh, thanks for being interested! You might be seeing more concept art of the game later on ^^
