Mazaku's sprite sheet for Sonic Clash.Man, this was a surprise for me. I really wasn't in the spriting mood, but then i suddenly saw this character's sheet. And boy, when i got the permission to use him, before i knew it i was working intensely on my version of the sheet. But this sure was a fun sheet to make.

Reyn is Shulk's childhood and best friend, and debuts on Xenoblade Chronicles for the Wii. He's the 2nd official party member to join your team, and plays the role of a tank. I have played, beaten, and recently started watching Chuggaconroy's let's play, so I'm practically refreshed on his character and gameplay role.
===Character wise===
Β Reyn is like Vaike's personality on Fredrick in the Fire Emblem: Awakening gamecdncache-a.akamaihd.net/items/β¦ ">. He's somewhat overconfident, not too much to be considered egotistic or prideful by any means, and has a habit of making a fool of himself. His lack of intelligence in strategy, academics, and anything in general makes him a Brawn over brains type of guy. So as you can expect, he's pretty fucking built physical wise. Reyn is usually a nice guy that learns from experience and likes to protect his friends. This is most commonly seen as he takes something akin to a big brother/gaurdian role to Shulk when they start there adventure.
(Kinda spoilers Xd)
Β As the story progresses, Reyn starts maturing. He starts learning what his place is, his capabilities, and his role. These experiences make him MUCH more reliable than his past self, as pointed out by number 7 when talking about Reyn's past to present comparison. (Number 7 is a spoiler of it's own, so I'm not saying a thing about it T_T)
===Gameplay wise===
Β Β Earlier I mentioned Fredrick from Fire Emblem. His initial role, from an experts perspective, is to be bait. He's basically 10 levels ahead of everyone else from the gecko, and he's job advanced. Being a knight on a horse, he's basically a tank with a crap ton of movement potential.
Β Β How does this relate to Reyn? Early on, he's the most reliable Tank, having the best tanking abilities for a loooooong time. The reason why I used Fredrick instead of someone like... Kellam for example, is because a lot of people prefer Reyn to be a tank early in the game. I, personally, never changed Reyn and it's more of a matter of preference. They change a characters role using armor and enchantments and such that are better suited for one role over another, if you're curious.
Β Β Similar to Fredrick, he basically serves as a distraction so the rest can deal damage. This isn't the same as Fredrick, as Reyn distracts an enemy while Fredrick is bait. The difference? Reyn actually attacks and plays an active role. In order to keep the attacks off other party members, the tank has to deal the most damage. That way they'll draw the aggro or the enemy's attention. So basically a variation on Fredricks role.
Oh and Fredrick is like, a completely different character from Fire Emblem Awakening. Don't worry about him, or any other characters I mentioned. That's a COOOOOOOMPLETELY different story XD
