Yes, cause this was my first digital painting i look closer to Twarda's work, just for my eye can "scan" the work. The rest have no reference.

Ha, I thought so. This is pretty cool, of you ask me. I like your take on this.

Now, I feel a tad silly mentioning this... but she (Twarda) came to me and said that she was a little bothered that you didn't mention this in the comments. She can be a tad shy at times, believe it or not. She wasn't sure how to tell you this in person without feeling like she was being a little rude (or ungrateful that she had inspired someone's work). Would this at all be a problem?

Not at all, and check. Yeah, the desings are completely diferent and i never took class or nobody to teach me digital painting, so, i had to make the rest of work by my own. Twarda's charmander was a really help to start this.

I wouldn't go as far as to say classes are necessary. A little hands-on practice is always the best route, I think.

Yeah, that is quite an aspiration there. But it looks as if you've gotten a fairly decent start. Good luck. Believe it or not, Good ol' Twarda there tells me she thinks her art is crap (her standards sometimes border on ridiculous, but it makes her a damned good critic). So, I guess there's always room for improvement no matter what.

I'm getting my first taste of a real art class tomorrow. But I'm only doing it because I'm interested personal improvement and as a hobby. My art form by far is writing, but having the ability to illustrate for it has been an interest for a long time. I doubt I'll take more than this Intro to Drawing class... I'm an Earth Sciences student, and these generally don't fit into such a schedule

Yes, i'm doing some art away from Pokémonm, hope in disney likes my art to accept me. I need more skill! i have the rest of the year to make me a better illustrator.

I need to branch my abilities out. Currently it takes me too long to do a very limited scope of characters and objects. Some rare occasions I come up with something decent, but most of what I draw doesn't make it past a light sketch. Hopefully I'll change that.

I do like that you added something new, I like how you did the tail or how you worked on your backgrounds.
If you want to improve quicker, I suggest study real life, still lifes are really useful for learning how to manage colour and light, while animals are good to understand anatomy. All of this is helpful to create convincing pictures from imagination, or, here, to create believable realistic pokemon
