Welcome 2012!With this quick painting my gallery of 2012 starts
Jason the first red ranger and the original leader of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
I made this portrait with the movie suit because is more awesome!

Too bad Austin St. John never got to wear the movie suit. Not only that, but we never got to see a movie version of the Green Ranger suit. Still, it looks real good. You really did capture Austin St. John's face there.

Yeah But if he and the original cast were in the movie, there would have been drama behind the scenes since back then Austin St. John and Jason David Frank didn't get along.

Ironic, considering that Jason and Tommy were practically like brothers on the show. In fact, their Super Sentai counterparts, Geki and Burai, actually WERE brothers!

I love this picture mainly because Jason was the first Red Ranger, but also I prefer the first Movie Power Ranger suits more to the Television ones. You did a nice job on this picture and I can't think of any words to describe how badass this is. XD

Yes, to sad that Jason wasn't in the movie. About the face, yes, i used the one frame of the episode to make this painting cause it was the last legendary appearance of him.

Ic... I wish Jason would have another appearance in the latest PR's show... But I heard about Austin he found pounds in 2007. Dunno now.. In Forever Red he really act like a veteran Ranger, he should be the leader instead of Tommy actually.

Also Austin is retired from actin, he's a paramedic now and gym trainer. Well, in F.R episode his presence has more impact than Tommy's. In Zeo, Tommy asked to Jason some leadership advices.
