Description I decided it'd be real neat to create another 'What If' map based on the alternate history of 'What if the Canadas defeated the British and won the rebellions of 1837?' since this year marks the 180th anniversary of the Lower and Upper Canada rebellion.

Once, the Canadas were the sanctuary of fleeing Royalists who escaped the turmoil of the American Revolution and wished to live elsewhere besides living under republican rule. Most English colonials settled in Upper Canada (Ontario) and declared themselves the United Empire Loyalists.

Looking at this  has got me curious about the possiblity of a trilingual Canada.
Could that haveever happened?

I like the way you did this map, it's a beautiful old school style

I've however few questions : I suppose that Jamesie and Katavik were annexed after the Canadian victory against the British, however I'm a little skeptical, these borders look too similar to the real Québec. By eg, Labrador use to be part of the early low Canada province, so I don't think Canadian would've lost it to the British.
And at the same time, I tend to think Borealia wouldn't be able to survive without being annexed by Canada if Katavik (and perhaps coastal areas of Jamesie) wasn't part of Borealia

I was also wondering, how Canada succeed to take Michigan from the USA ? After the Civil War ? And how did it succeed to annex Haiti too ?

Ok for a start the style : I like it, it's simple and have a nice 60/70's school map feel to it. I would just think personnaly the red symbols have maybe a too thick stroke. Some latitude and longitude lines would have been cool aswell (and river maybe, not necessary though). The Lakes could be named as well.

Mmh, I wonder about the realism of the thing, I'm looking forward to see the description you might come up with.
I don't know exactly what you are going for ? a bilingual republic of Canada or a monolingual French one? If the later, the naming could definietely get some rework ! For now I can just give you a few advice : Nouvelle-Eccosse should be Nouvelle-Écosse, Cote-Nord, Côte-Nord, Territoire du Jamesie, Territoire de la Jamesie, Trois-Riviere, Trois-Rivière, St. Annes-des-Pins, Ste. Anne-des-Pins, Pointe-St. Anne, Pointe-Ste. Anne, Grand Pre, Grand-Pré, Beausejour, Beauséjour. Aussi I don't see why the spelling 'Isle' would stick in the name of the states (Isle St-Jean, Isle-Royale and Presque Isle instead of Île St-Jean, Île-Royal (this one is optional though, Isle-Royale is possible) and Presqu'île) and not for Sept-Îles.

Ah, it seems that the name 'Concord' is lost in the New-Hampshire, leaving an unnamed city in Champlain. Concord could be Concorde by the way.
