I have two questions for you:
1. How do you get them all to pop so perfect?!
2. What size are the stars? What size paper did you use?
I know, that's more like three questions. But what can I say?

1. Um... well, I've folded over 1,000 stars, so they just become better looking with practice! But, also, it helps when you're folding to not smush the paper together, like crease the edges of the pentagon. It tends to cave in if you do that. has a really good guide on how to pop stars, so that can help you too! By the way I pop the stars is by holding the pentagon in between my thumb and forefinger of my left hand and pushing in a side with my right index finger or thumb.
2. The stars are probably 1/2 inch tall. I used quilling paper for these. I just ripped one strip in half and folded it. So with one pack of quilling paper, I can make 200 stars. I can't remember the exact size of the paper, but i'm going to say maybe they are 1/2 inch wide? and the quilling paper is a bit longer than a sheet of printer paper. If you're going to cut your own paper, I'd suggest the length of printer paper and 1/2 inch wide. I've also made star paper that's printable and you can find it in my gallery :3 there are a lot of other deviants here who have made free printable star paper, too!
