I've been hen pecked by almost all of my friends to draw more comics. SO In between my art trades I took a break to crank out this little one shot of Nashiti and Hedward .My poor baby has realized that she has a crush on her friend. She seems to be under the impression if she ignores it, it will magically go away. She has no desires to pursue someone who has a girlfriend so she keeps her mouth shut about it.
Her mind however is a lot harder to shut up apparently.

I love that you're writing her like this, it's so overdone seeing a girl suddenly trying to steal a guy just because she has a crush. I feel like this approach is seldom explored. And it seems to focus on Nashiti and her struggles with it rather than, "oh hey, dem girls are being catty again, watch out." Anyway, I find myself growing to adore this character very quickly. XD

XD oh yes, Nashiti is one smooth operator.
Yeeea stealing a man is not Nashiti's angle. she does not operate that way. If he came to her of his own accord she would jump on him so fast- but she is not going to actively try to lure him away, it would be a hollow victory and she does not wish to do to Madison what has been done to her in the past.
She isn't the type to go all "hey, hey, you, you I don't like your girlfriend! No way, No way I think you need a new one!" it's not her style. She would much rather suffer in silence than risk losing Hedward as a friend or taking away his happiness.

Lol I'm glad you picked up on that! I think it's so cute that Crane is so uneasy around Merriweather...she just wants to play but it's in her nature to gives others the creeps- conflict of interest for a nightmare horse.

It is extremely cute! I think Crane is just a huge cutiepie. X3 Him being intimidated by Merriweather also kinda works out 'cause the only "scary" looking horse that Crane knows is Hedward's dad's horse, who is extremely terrifying. I don't think Crane likes him very much and because Merriweather isn't a normal looking horse either I think Crane would be a bit scared of her.
