Blossom: you know, that was quite a close call back there-
Brick: uh-huh
Blossom: you could’ve gotten seriously hurt
Brick: but I didn’t.
Blossom: as much as you love your hair, you gotta take care of it or it gets in the way

This is an idea I’ve had for the longest time and I finally had the inspiration and time to draw it! Brick’s hair is starting to get a little too long and he hasn’t been taking proper care of it disregarding Miss Bellum’s advice, until finally, he gets his butt kicked by a monster of some sort because his hair gets stuck in debris as he tries to fight the monster and it takes advantage of this mistake.

He comes back home (which is essentially Miss Bellum’s living room! Check out the Sedusa episode! I took the background from it) after the professor patches him up the best he could; Blossom follows him just to make sure he didn’t get into any more trouble and finally convinces him to let her help with his tangled red locks.

Brick still hates Blossom; he makes sure to let her know this was just a favor he’ll eventually pay off because he is definitely not warming up to her! And he absolutely did not enjoy the breeze that reaches his neck and the careful way she interlocks his hair! Not at all!
