On the 8th day of Halloween, I caught wind of the black plague!

"Upon encountering this odd fellow, I had believed I had met yet another Jubjub bird, as what was not covered by his long cloak and mask appeared to be quite avian. However, once he removed his mask, it quickly became apparent that he was both man and avian, perhaps some manner of harpy? He introduced himself as a swan, but never have I seen a swan with such fouled and damaged plumage. Whatever he was before, this gentleman has obviously become corrupted by some virulent and potentially lethal disease, though he himself seems to be immune to its effects. However, the longer I spent in his company, the sicker I began to feel, so I thought it wise to leave him as soon as possible, bidding my farewells with a few coughs and an oddly spreading rash.
