Fireheart and Graystripe (from Warrior Cats).

As you may've guessed from the title, partially inspired by this wonderful song .

Additionally, thanks to the wonderful , Graystripe's been intruding on my thoughts over the past few months, so that kind of helped with this. And...I wanted to draw some close friends being happy together but it's also depressing if you think about it because Graystripe's going on ahead but Fire is sort of staying back, y'know? for reasons. All kinds of reasons.

I got really experiment-y and crazy with backgrounds and filters and all the light in this. Hate drawing grass. Can you tell? But I love love love drawing light and working with SAI's luminosity setting, omg. And I love Graystripe's pose, so much. So so much. Look at his front paws real quick, please; they were fun to draw!

Ooh, the canvas for this was huge for me to work with. So much fun.

((May as well add, I'm going to be tossing a few doodley uploads on here too tonight since school (woo! senior year! so many APs tho) and a couple animation projects may or may not screw around with my already lacking art-production speed. This is the only one most of you will be interested in, though. Heh.))
