Of course it would be blasphemy. I just had to make sure. As for Halo Cryptum, it definetly shows some light on the Forerunners. It illuminates their relationship with humans, (which was not all peaches and cream) It showed a little bit about Forerunner culture and biology and it shows the fate of the Precursors (humans were treated a little better) If any of these things happen to come up in your fan film, I found some spoilers on halo wiki.
