RUFF animation!I'm really out of practice, so that even this little walk cycle took me a long time. Oy. But the only way to beef the skills back up is to practice, so here we are.
One of the extremes is a little too extreme, I think, and I could use another drawing in between the height of the walk and the low point, but I'll get it.
Preston Blair's book "Cartoon Animation" is a great resource; I recommend it to anybody!

nice! It would be a little easier to critique if it was on a treadmill rather than a progressive cycle, but from what I can see, it looks good! Great start, I'm sure it will look just fine with the inbetweens! Keep on keepin' on! 2D rulez XD

I got Preston Blair's Book as well, but, there is another terrific book about cartoon animation! It's a real bible! Β«The animator's survival guideΒ» by Richard Williams. A big, thick book, full of exemples and very well written!

Haha, that cat has quite the form! I agree with it needing a frame perhaps after his lowest point, he seems to jump forward a little fast. But that is really a fun little stride, I love the posing!
