Since I've been trying to build my portfolio, I was looking through my art and decided that I'd really like to revisit this piece. Originally it was just a glorified sketch, but I wanted to take it to a finish. I'm pretty happy with where it's at right now, but I'd love to hear what you have to say about it.PainterIX

I'm just wondering, is there a chance that I can get the permission to use this art, for private use only of course, I will not sell the game and gain any profit from it. Its just for me and friends.
I'm making a boardgame with TheGameCrafter and they demand permission on all images used in the game that is or may be under the copyright law.
I will of course have your name in the Credits.

I like it but I think you could push the layout further.
Create a greater sense of depth behind and around the wizard - deeper background values. Lengthen and grow the arms as if seen through a distorted lens - as if the magic spell is really warping things.
I understand you were revisiting an older work and don't want to make a whole new one but I think the character is interesting enough to warrant the attention.

This is a beautiful piece Capprotti. In fact, several years ago (before I had an account here) I came across it in a random web search. I liked it so much I used it in an adventure post for my campaign site here ([link] ).
Now that I know who the artist is, I'd like to ask your permission to continue using the image at my site (it's a purely private, non-commercial site). I would credit you as the artist and put a link to this page if you like. However if you want me to remove the image I will do so.
