Malka's mother decided her son needed a new friend so he's stop wandering off so much, so she and Tojo's mother decided to introduce the cubs. Tojo brought along one of his birds to show his new friend.
Tojo is from the comic "Orphaned Birds" and Malka is from the comic "Simba's New Brother".
