"Yeah. Can we go home now Shani?"
"No way! I haven't even gotten my paws soaked yet!"
Chaka had had quite enough of the rain. Now that he finally had a mane, he realized how annoying it was to dry it after getting caught in the rain, or in this case, watching his sister play in it.
"I'm going home." Chaka replied.
Shani stopped splashing in puddles for a moment. "But dad said we have to stick together."
"Then follow me home. I'm soaked and getting cold." grumbled Chaka.
"Oh you big baby." Shani said, as she continued to run about. Chaka just turned and headed towards Priderock.

You know, Chaka is probably a lot like how Kovu would have been if he weren't trained to be a "killer." Shani is her mother's daughter through and through personality-wise.
And it's so funny how it's the males that has the hair problems and bad hair days in the world of lions!
