I ALMOST can't believe I went through the trouble of finishing this so much, but then I've spent time less productively in the past. Anyway, for those who've been blessed - or cursed - enough to have experienced the show first hand, yes this is the Yo Gabba Gabba gang!

Specifically, this was enspired by the episode "Share" where they all get new balls (well, all except for Plex, the robot, who I guess doesn't count!) and then proceed to screw each other over to take them from one another. A little later in the episode, Toodee, the blue cat-dragon, ripped the ball from Brobee's furry green hands and went about playing, easily ignoring his whining.

Frankly, Toodee saw what she wanted and took it. I respect that! Of course, her victory was short lived because everyone came running to go into a song and dance about respecting each other's property or some such nonsence. Toodee was eventually guilted into giving the little crybaby his ball back.

Actually, there are some odd messages all over this episode. At one point, Brobee is happily playing on his own, behaving himself and generally not causing trouble when the trees (Yes, freakin' TREES) decided that they wanted to play with his ball and launched into yet another song guilting him into sharing it. For crying out loud, let the guy play on his own with his own ball! If he WANTS to play with the trees, I'm sure he'll mention it.

I actually like Yo Gabba, in a way. It reminds me of the crazy shows that I watched as a kid in the 70s where most of the characters were giant muppets with actors inside. My daughter, Kayleigh Anne, ADORES the show. So, yes, it's on AAAALLLLLLLLL the time. I tend to draw what's in my life, and this show is inescapable.

Oh, yes, the balls are actually the proper color. (sad) The characters are: Toodee, the blue cat-dragon (I sexed her up a bit because she's easily my favorite); Muno the red, one-eyed moon creature; Brobee the whiny green manic depressive; Foofa the pink flower creature (again, sexed up although in the show she's such a "rainbows and unicorns" girly-girl I can hardly take it); and Plex, the robot. I don't know why I "humanized" them since I'm not generally a big fan of humanizing obviously non-human characters.
