Description
After having found a large batch of my old files, I decided to "update" a couple of them if for no other reason than to have a "before and after" sort of thing. This drawing started as a redraw of the ten year old automated girl I posted a couple days ago. ( [link] )

However, I didn't want the same pose, so it all started as an attempt to give her a little more personality by having her argue with her "dad," Robbie The Robot from 1956's Forbiden Planet. Then I needed something for them to
argue over, so I sketched out her date, a Dalek. But since Daleks aren't really robots and since giving it
personality would require stretching his casing a bit too much to mesh with the rest of the drawing style, I decided
to give her a Cylon Centurian to date. After all that, I dropped Robbie completely and just had the two of them
argue.

I went all out with the shading on these two. I've got Robbie inked, so I'll probably post him sooner or later. New Cylons are a little hard to find clear reference material on, but I think he turned out pretty well.

Sketched by hand, "inked" in pencil, colored and extensively shaded in Pjotoshop. Cylons are from the new version of Battlestar Galactica, the Model 12a Automated Girl is my own creation.
