I got a call earlier Monday afternoon from my friend, Tony. He needed another pilot to fly with him on a formation photography flight. I hadnt flown his musketeer before but it was an awesome flight. We flew in formation with a Chipmunk and a pitts special. When routing home to Cranfield we spotted a virgin balloon over bedford. After a quick call on the ballooning frequency the balloon pilot gave us his permission to fly around the balloon and take pics. We circled around the balloon until it landed near cardington.Related content

What an amazing view you had from up there a lovely photo of Cardington Village as well often see the virgin balloon come over where I live which isn't far from here Linda

Yep, we get the virgin balloons over MK alot too, they take off from Willen Lake

Thanks for your replies...just trying to work out how to use it still LOL..I do live in the Bedfordshire area not far from the Hangers really and the Virgin Air Ballons comes over our way....I should go out with the camera next time I see it

Yep, you should take a pic the next time it flies over. I always take a shot of hotair balloons whenever I see them
