quite a money-maker for us. they have almost the revenue-load capacity of a 767-200,yet at a fraction of the operating cost for a trip to Europe.

Shes dying out. Remember when LTN was full of them. Air2000, Britannia, Monarch, Ambasador on a regular basis.
Now BA is done with theirs .. my fave plane by a long shot. Nice pic man.

Yes, I remember! Infact, I saw a Thomson Airways (First choice livery) B757 land at Luton a few months ago but you're right, its not a regular site at Luton now.
Its sad to see BA's B757's go. For me being born in 1984 (and the B757 joining in 1983) and spending my life growing up right near heathrow, the B757 seemed to be as much part of BA as concorde was and BA have retired both too early in my opinion.
I agree, the B757 is my fave too.

Yeah thats about it .. even Monarch doesnt run them in much anymore. Making me hate A319'S and 737's.
Miss the distinctive sound they make as they climb.

Yep, the A319,20,21 is relatively boring in comparison to the B757. The B757 has a great look and has a great climb.

I live just across from the city of Philadelphia and the approach/climb out paths pass right over where I live. I grew up here so it's nothing unusual. One of the paths starts right over a major intersection and you can stand in a restaurant parking lot and see the planes make the turn onto final.
