After looking back into the first pages of this comic, i just got to wonder....
Who's talking in the black bubbles and who's talking in the white bubbles?
I thought before that it was just Grant talking, and that the white bubbles represented the positive things that he would say/think ( in other words, Grants angle) while the black bubbles represented the opposite ( In other words, Grants demon).
However, the last black bubble on this page just didn't link up at all with what i thought before and how the scene was going.
"You were really pathetic. I mostly just felt sorry for you"
If what i thought was true, then this would really make everything confusing. The quote itself, if it came from Grant, just doesn't connect to what he's trying to do in this scene. I feel as if that's something that Randy would have said instead of Grant.
I just want to wrap my head around how these black and white boxes work in this part of this comic. Im really not trying to come off as cynical, i'm just really curious.

It's not that complicated. The black boxes are Randy talking, replying as Grant tells him the story.
