I did a couple of spring themed arts and this is the first: a winged anthro wolf named Springfire.one of my most admired human artists, *Amadis8487 (go commission her if you are able to), gave me a hand on this one; with the arms. She basically taught me how to draw parts of human anatomy such as the torso. So huge thanks to her! ^^
i colored this very recklessly on purpose, i don't know why but i did. So just so you know it is recklessly colored not rushed. ^_~

you really did good on the coloring. The basic sketch was nice. Since I've already seen it, of course, you got my opinion of it then, but I'll tell you, I love how nice you refined the form of the tail in the final version, its so noce and clear and balanced.
As for the coloring, I like what you did on flame in the hand and how it covers the wing and makes the lines beneath it indistict.

If I were to critique anything...It would be the loincloth, it doesn't quite see like it sits on the body right. The amount it extends to the sides of the form make it seem like thick, furry cloth, but the smoothness of the line accross the body makes it look like thin cloth, cut to look frayed on the bottom. Cloth thickness is so hard! @_@

I think this is great, I love the fact that just a couple years ago you said you'd never do human-like bodies cause you thought you sucked, but I love how far you've come! and something that I found that helps me is just sketch the different body parts over and over, even copy somebody's technique at first, it really helps

whoever taught you taught you well, he looks amazing. the musculature is awesome, but the head looks a bit... cartoony (for lack of a better word) compared to the rest of the body. not that it's not good, it just looks a little out of place to me. other than that, the fire is cool, as is his name, and the coloring is beautiful! <3

So I really this whole thing of "human wolves"...but I love wolves in general.
Anyways I think that it is awesome piece and character but If I might throw out a few suggestions for the anatomy.
For the "pecks" they need to be smaller they seem to be a little on the long side.
And for the abdominals, they top two are usually the smallest and the bottom two should extend down into pelvic area
and the arms are a little on the short side. They may look long at first but the elbows should line up with the belly button and the wrists should line up at the bottom of the crotch area. anywho, just thought I'd throw out some tips from my figure drawing classes. Love the bri.
