Description
This is the second piece in my "Star Wars is AWESOME!" series, which was actually inadvertently created after a request from my fellow admin during ICON... It started out being a simple request to draw a female Jedi with long hair and twin lightsabers... So I drew the according request, but it was incredibly bland and generic, so instead, I planned out and illustrated this monster in all of two hours (inks included), but only what you see in the foreground...You see, for the first time ever, I actually WANTED to draw a background, which I plotted and illustrated on a whole separate page with the intent of layering the whole image. I then moved the SBD closer to the character and altered its arm's position a little for increased dramatic effect.
The character became so much more than just some generic Jedi... I named her Lumiria after Forest Moon's RPG character on Legion Ink's story thread and made her look Elfish in appearance, pointy ears and pale skin included!
As a point of interest, Lumiria's hips were originally WAY too narrow, so I digitally edited them and made them wider (by at least 4mm!!!)...

I actually dislike how they appear in the clone wars 3D show, they just don't seem intimidating anymore. I used to think of the droids as killing machines, you get in their way, you'll die, like an army of fire ants; you might kill a few but a Β one on one fight, you're gonna get over powered, especially when some have sword arms, a 340 pound bitch-slap, cortosis plating, twin gun arms and etc. But then TCW makes them like cheap malfunctioning toys that I don't think ANYONE would use to fight a full scale war with. They kind of became storm-troopers, expendable, they're gonna die, regardless. I just think it's a bit retarded to make intimidating enemies that can swarm you like wasps nothing more than robots that seem to miss every time they shoot. :/

Ah! Then that is a fair judgement! The problem with the new Star Wars is that it had elements of sheer coolness, like the Battle Droids and Clone troopers, and then was destroyed by Gungans and severely bad acting!
