After scanning in the three pics to make my Team Sakara image, I first wanted to trying out something.I had 's Sonic-Style Tutorial 2.0 in my hard-drive, so I figured "why not try this style out on Rico first?"
So I put my Team Sakara pic on hold to try this style out.
Using both the tutorial and offical images for coloring reference, I was able to complete this in about 24 hours. I took my time on this. Wanting to see if it could be transparent like the offical pics, I decided to go to "Save for Web" to make it a .png file, and it works prefectly!
I hope this looks ok. Remember, this pose is what Rico will have in my Team Sakara pic, which will be made using my own coloring style. So this also serves as a preview of what to except in the next image.
BTW, I love the Sonic-pose Rico's using. I think I fits him just right. X3

Done in PhotoShop 7.0, exporting with the "Save for Web" seting "PNG-24/Transparency."

HOLY CRAP, this is cool! Rico, I love your work! I can't believe just how good you actually are. I find it funny that even before I started going on DA I had a character (still do-he's awesome) named Skye. He is a Kitsune like Rico, believe it or not, but he has 5 tails. when I get my scanner working i'll upload a pic and show you! LOL He's blue too and has large bangs, I find it hilarious how much they look alike! (by the way, don't worry, I'm not copying your character. I've had my character for a long time before DA)
