Description Finally I started to work on my rag dolls again. After I made the pierrot clown doll which is 14 inches tall and kind of skinny I decided to make a few dolls of this size using spare scraps of fabric from previous dolls.  My goal is to use all the scraps before I start buying more fabric.

For my first doll I chose American McGee's Alice.  Here is the work in progress of the doll.  I'm working on my spare time, so, I'm not sure when it's going to be finished.

Day 01:  After I finished sewing the doll I thought it would be fun to photograph her bald but I didn't want to photograph her naked so i made some sort of straitjacket for the picture. Then, I realized it was going to be my only chance to photograph her like that, so, I decided to paint the eyes first which I usually do  last.

Day 02: I was done with the hair.  [Doesn't she look like the woman from the grudge?]

Day 03: I was done making her undergarments.  Well, I'm not sure what kind of undergarments she is wearing, so, I made her some bloomers and an undershirt.

What a great choice for a Rag-doll, I so want to see it finished. DD
Loved how you did her eyes and those dark zones around, very nice effect.

Wooahhh those eyes are so...mesmerizing! Loving that rich green color with that sullen gaze! ~
Geez The Grudge was my childhood nightmare. I hate that movie with a passion, but I blame it mostly on the matter of having 2 older-brother-like uncles who would mess with me and make the Grudge's infamous long croaking(?) noise when I was younger...
Regardless of that, this doll looks absolutely awesome! ~ Amazing job as always!!! ~

She looks pretty cool! Good job on the straight jacket!
Do you, perhaps, have any tips for beginning cloth doll makers when it comes to patterns? I'm new to this and I want to make something 3d...

Thank you so much for visiting my page and for the comment.

To be honest I’m quite new at making dolls but I have spend a lot of time reading/watching tutorials and if you don’t mind I will share the link to the one that helped me the most.

Just remember that this is just a basic guide. Also, if you use some of these patterns even if they are altered a little give some credit to the creator of the pattern just to be fair with our fellow crafters.

I hope this can help you.
