Description

This is the second commission that I finished!!!  This is a super chibi doll and it is the first time that I used the pattern. I was a little concern on the proportions of the entire doll. I thought the head was too big for the body but looking at the finished doll i think it looks okay. This is the super chibi version of the first rag doll I made some months ago. I was requested to make it almost exactly as the other one except for the hair color and the size.  Since this was the first time using this pattern I had a headache making the right size for the clothes. I was so frustrated that I said to my sister that i wasn't going to make another doll this small BUT I must say that I like how it turned out and now I have a better idea of the size for her, so, I might make some other super chibi dolls.

See what are you talking about! This one is the same size as my Erza plush but this one has so much detail! XD You ask me how I can do an amazing job on such a small plush but you prove to me right here that you have accomplished the same thing and this plush looks a hell of a lot better than mine, looks a lot more well held together so I should be asking YOU how you got that much detail into such a small doll. Absolutely adorable and perfect. ~<3

LOL.

First of all thank you for the compliments.

I don't know what to say.... I guess, I think of my dolls as wearing average clothes but anime characters have more stylized designs and you do an AMAZING job recreating the outifits. Not only you make the outfits but you make them SO small.  I haven't made an anime character this small, so, I'm not sure how well I could make the clothes. LOL.

Thanks alot for the encouraging words.  I'm looking forward to see more of your wonderful plushies.

Well you have proved you can make yours look amazing as well even if they are just regular clothing, you make the clothing actually look real and not just something for a doll and that takes talent and knowledge of how to do so :3 And your Vocaloid plush may have been bigger but for an anime plush there was a lot of detail in that one and it was very well put together I really enjoyed it.

Thank you, I will be looking forward to seeing more of yours as well ^^

Thank you very much!

At first i wasn't sure how she was going to turn out because it was the first doll I made of this size and the blank doll didn't look too cute or pretty. The hair and clothes make a huge difference in the appearance of any doll.

Thanks for the support!

Thank you so much!

One of the things I don't like about making dresses like this one is "to gather". i admit that the dresses look cute but it is just one of those things I wish were easier to make. hahah.

It look well proportioned in my opinion; I also love the clothes: the shoes, stockings, the jumper type dress. I loooove jumpers but is hard to find them these days, when I go to a store and ask for them, they look at me and say: "Ho, that 80's fashion!?, no we don't have them"

Sorry for the late reply, I was away for the holidays.

Thank you so much for your comment. I'm glad to hear that she looks proportioned because I was a bit worry about it. Me too, I like this kind of clothes but it is true that it is not easy to find them in the stores these days. I guess we don't have another choice than make it ourselves. lol

By the way, HAPPY 2014! I wish this new year will be full of blessing for you and your family.

Sorry for the late reply but you know that I appreciate all your lovely comments and that you always support my work.

I really didn't have in mind to make a doll to look super deform like this one but the commissioner ask for one and this is how she turned out. I think the small feet make her look super cute. hahaha. For the clothes I cheated because I just resize the pattern of the 16 inches doll, I had to make a few extra adjustments but it was easier that making it from scratch. hehe.

Thank you so much for always visiting.
