Based on Lone Druid, yes ^^. HoN derived from DotA 1 back in the day and a lot of it's base heroes are the same, just in a different skin.

I've played an MMORPG or two (or lots more) to know what I like, and this illustration would be the perfect visual style for a real game. Currently I'm only playing Guild Wars 2, and I'm wishing they would have hired you!

Guild Wars 2 artists may be genetically bread cyborgs from the renaissance cultural movement of the 17th century and into the Late Middle Ages, with primitive yet refined tablet nibs protruding from their fingers, but I love them all the same. The art I see in Guild Wars 2 is mind blowing. I have about 500 screenshots I want to upload, but am not sure what site to put them on.
In other news, you might like to try Google Earth with the graphics turned up, to get some kickass backgrounds for your art. Turn the topography up pretty high. Mix Google Earth's mountain scapes (and 3d buildings in new york) with Guild Wars 2's nature shots, and BAM you'll have endless ideas for art.

I like how you really developed this painting.
I personally don't like how the bear, guy, and knife are all side by side. Then the bear and man are about the same size. Good idea turning it on it's side to add more diagonal lines. I just noticed, it's very heavy on the most contrast seems to be on the bear and not the man. is the bear Wildsoul? It looks to me like he is the "star" of your painting.
As a painting, it's pretty compelling. I hope you have more paintings on the way to share with us.

The man is Wildsoul, I tried making the guy's face brighter and the bear darker, but it just kept looking awkward to me so I settled with this. Thanks for pointing it out; it's something I should look out for in future pieces! I did a couple of compositional sketches and the team chose this one, so even though it's rather left-heavy I suppose they preferred it that way ^^".

Haha, it's a bit of a wolf-bear almost, not exactly realistic (especially the feet) but realism wouldn't suit the style of the game
