Granitewing ('Granny') Silverclaw: An elderly gryphon and a joint character between myself and Lyosha who hasn't seen the light of day in many years. I thought it was high-time to draw her. Don't worry about the coloring!! From the looks of the background, it is sunset or sunrise! That would account for the color being there on a otherwise grey gryphon!!

I'm so madly in love with her face, it's always hard to show age for me. Those slightly scraggly expression and the "nobody's fooling me" eye.

I just love your art. I love the watercolor, the shading, the use of color (all these brown tones work awesome together), and the personality... everything you do is so detailed and so interesting to look at. You are an amazing artist and illustrator. This is adorable. Her "younger years..." she must be really pushing it now.
