The colors on this one was a bit too light by the head area, and the branch seems a bit too surreal, but I guess that adds to the magical effect.

The first thing that popped into my head when I saw this was:"Eagle. Falcon. No, Hawk. Magical Game?" Haha. I was thinking of those cartoon games for kids where trees are shaped all curly, and birds and other animals all look very realistic.

Maybe because I'm used to your drawings now, though I still find them beautiful, I can find spots where you improved at or your mistakes here and there e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/> I can tell you worked hard on this one by the fine detailed textured coloring on the feathers! I especially love the tail feathers! It makes the feather plumes seem soft to the touch...not that I can touch it, but you get what I mean.

All in all, though it was a bit too light, and the beak was also a bit awkward underneath the nostrils, it is a beautiful piece ^^ The eye especially, it's very realistic! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Big Grin)"/> I loved this. This bird was very majestic, and pretty proud looking too, the right personality for this species!
