Pikmin!!!Oh my goodness, this is so perfect! If the game was a show, this style would suit it very well! This game was so fun. I wish there was a version for the DS.

I know little about Pikmin. I played it for a little bit at a store display eons ago, but that's about all I ever played of it. Had no idea what I was really doing, either. I was aliens doing stuff, or something? I've heard about the game, but I don't know much about it at all.
I guess the white aliens (are those called Pikmin?) and the purple alien are special. The red, yellow, and blue ones seem really common here, but I can only see two white ones, and one purple one.
I guess Olimar kinda' looks like an onion? I have no idea what this mysterious "onion" is.
Anyway, this does look really nice. I can't fully appreciate it, but I'm sure bigger Pikmin fans will squee with all the details they know about and how cute it is and stuff .

Really now. That's not surprising, Pikmin's not as big as the others. Let's see...
Olimar is the little bald astronaut guy. He's an alien that crash landed on Earth and he's very, very tiny -- like the size of a grape. His ship is called the Onion and in the first game, he's finding parts to repair it. When he crash lands he finds these strange little creatures, the Pikmin, who come in red (with noses), yellow (with ears) and blue (with mouths/gills). They all do different things, the second game introduces the really tiny white Pikmin and the fatty purple Pikmin. Olimar uses a whistle to command them to go places and interact with things, basically break obstacles, carry things back to the Onion and beat up enemies. The enemies all have cute names and are based on animals and stuff, but the best part is finding the special items, which are just everything things that look massive to the little guys and the crazy names he gives them. Like find a dice which Olimar dubs Chance Totem, a glove he calls a Five-Man Napsack, an apple he calls Insect Condo. Just fun, cute stuff like that!
I can only hope they squee.

I'm pretty sure they come in different colours (red, blue, yellow) but don't quote me on that.
Space technology, clearly! I'm pretty sure he has a stupid horn anyway, but it's much easier to draw the sound effects! And let's face it, it's not like a tiny spaceman whistling from inside his bubble helmet is the biggest question when concerning Pikmin! XD
It's pretty fun. The best part was Pikmin 2 -- it had a 2-player battle mode. That was insane fun and me and the girls played for hours. Ribbon is a certified Pik-Maniac!
