Awesome work! You can totally see the inspiration from Aladdin (which is one of my favourite movies ever♥) but it's still really original! Your technique is great, I love how you used a realistic style but used a very smooth painting style, especially on the turban!  The eyes and the eyebrows are awesome, they look so lively! Great work!

Thanks for such a thoughtful and kind comment, Hoshi! Yeah, I'm a bit of a calculative neat freak in my art (terrible with emotive conceptual stuff) so I guess it shows here.
So wonderful that you mentioned the eyes and eyebrow. I try hard to get the 'look' right!

You're so sweet.  Hair has never been my strength and I tried a sort of cross-hatching thing on the beard.  Glad to hear you like the way it looks. haha  Thanks again for all the kind words! ^-^

Yep, Aladdin is definitely the name that springs to mind when I look at this.
I love the eyes, they're so full of messages, so very expressive. Not to say that the rest of the portraits is not, hehe.
I love the shading, I love everything about this! Lovey work.
