Description It's FAN-art...get it? FANart, because of the fan...lol don't you just love lame little puns

It's Emmy Rossum in the movie Songcatcher, and in there her name is Deladis Slocumb. She's like, 12 years old and really...southern

Ignore the stain on her chin...I was drawing during lunch at school, and one of my friends spilled a little tomato sauce on it. There's a little more, but I was able to edit that out. Meh, I am so pissed though...tomato sauce.

And also the thing on her neck...I have no idea at all what that is. So...I don't know who to get mad at. Que llastima.

WIP here

Used mechanical pencil for ALL of it except for the eyes, which were done in 9B (I tried to kind of make them stand out, but once I put in the hair I realized that was not possible)

I like how I did the nose. Lol, little piggy nose

Wow. The detail in this, the perfection in this, is amazing. Her wisps of hair are perfectly flowing, her eyes stand out and stare out at you, and she strongly reminds me of someone, though I can't put my finger on who it would be.

Definite fave.

This is beautiful, despite the tomato sauce...Haha. The only thing I would suggest is a little more contrast on her face, although that would most likely take the softness away from it. Just depends on what feeling you're trying to provoke.

looks neat ove clarity in light an dark(ive not seen a pic of her) the eyes do seem side to side too small/round an the chin could use little more definition fer bottom part

fyi once i get o shadin i switch between michanacal pencills an my ebony

I was going to say "Excellent detail, espcially with adding the zit!" but then I read the artist's note. -cough-
Anyway, that WOULD have been a fine attention to detail, if it were intentional.
Her hair and eyes are gorgeous. Curly hair has to be the hardest to do. Great work.
